"During the period of my fellowship, I am researching early modern Protestant theologies of the Apocalypse. Particularly, I am interested in the ways in which Protestant commentaries of the Apocalypse describe the means and manner of divine revelation, and how the biblical prophets were thought to have experienced divine revelation, in terms of epistemology and phenomenology. This is part of a larger book project on divine revelation in early modern England that I am working on. At the library, I am focusing upon the theology of the continental reformers Heinrich Bullinger, Peter Vermigli, and Francois du Jon (Junius) because of their direct influence upon the thought and theology of English Protestants in the Elizabethan and Stuart periods."
