Kyle is currently a PhD student at the University of Iowa. Kyle graduated from Dordt College (IA, USA) in 2009 with a BA in theology and from Calvin Theological Seminary (MI, USA) in 2012 with a Masters of Divinity. Working with Dr. Raymond Mentzer, Kyle studies consistory records from the time of the Reformation, particularly those of Dutch Reformed churches. He is especially interested in researching how consistories dealt with lingering Catholic tendencies within their congregations and how consistories sought to educate people in the Reformed faith.
